We have just returned from our latest dental mission in Honduras. Although this mission was quite challenging, and we had to make some adjustments, we were successful in helping many patients in the clinic and saw around 300 children in the schools where they received dental hygiene instruction and had fluoride applied, as well as receiving a toothbrush and toothpaste. Each mission is different and the success depends on us being able to adapt and work with the resources we have.
As a small non-profit we depend entirely on donations and finding the best deals we can for equipment and supplies. We are currently in urgent need of two dental chairs with delivery systems, or two delivery systems that we can use with chairs we have.
