The Construction team organized by Ron Mashburn and his loyal group of volunteers have completed new residences for Tomas, Julio and Manuel. It has taken many hours of hard work organizing donations, construction, supplies and volunteers to make this dream come true for our beloved members of the Hospital Socorro de lo Alto family. As many of you know Julio and Manuel have resided at the hospital since the days of orphanage being on the property. Tomas has been housed permanently since 2012. (hired in 2005). Each of these three special men have unique needs and challenges and you can read about their story in the ABOUT section of the website. They now have disability-accessible apartments complete with appliances and large wheelchair-accessible showers. They are overjoyed as you can see in the video below. Kudos and many thanks to our wonderful construction team that have not stopped short of any detail. You have changed the lives of our friends forever.
