Having received requests from the Honduran doctors to use the US donated laparoscopic equipment, the first step was to have the Hospital staff trained in the functioning, care, and maintenance of that specialized equipment. This training started on June 15, 2021. Making use of this equipment while the teams from the USA are not able to go to the Hospital will allow for an expansion of services by Honduran doctors.
